Meet Gender Lens Investing Champion, Joy Anderson

Joy Anderson spent time with Angela Giacchetti, Associate at the Pipeline Fellowship, for an interview about gender lens investing as part of Pipeline's "Ask our Network" series.

We need as many voices as possible not just practicing [gender lens investing]—practicing that is the first step…but then the second step is to say that out loud because others need to hear that you’re thinking about that, so we can amplify not just the practice, but the message behind the practice. —Joy Anderson

The Pipeline Fellowship is a nonprofit organization that trains cohorts of women philanthropists to become angel investors through education, mentoring and practice. Fellows commit to invest in a woman-led, for profit social venture in exchange for equity and a board seat.
