Civil society organizations (CSOs) play an essential role for the advancement of equity in society. Often, these organizations perform and provide critical functions locally, nationally, regionally, and globally, operate with shoe-string budgets, immense amounts of volunteered time, and make do with whatever resources are available. Resource limitations are a major hindrance for many civil society actors to achieve their aims.
