Types of Violence

Given the multitude of forms in which gender-based violence can occur, understanding how victims experience similar types of experience of harm can bring clarity to how prevalent that type of violence is, who causes it/who experiences it and how destructive it is. One type of violence is not privileged over another, because all types of violence cause harm. Audiences can address gender-based violence only if they have clarity on how instances of a particular type of violence are occurring and in what forms.

The roadmaps linked to this landing webpage showcase how to finance the reduction of gender-based violence from a primary perspective.
